Dr Sushmita Pamidi Respirologist and Sleep Physician Clinician-Scientist, McGill University, Montreal, Canada
Dr. Pamidi holds a Master’s in Epidemiology and is an Associate Professor of Medicine at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She is a respirologist and sleep physician clinician-scientist with expertise in clinical and health outcomes research related to sleep-disordered breathing and cardiometabolic outcomes. After her training in sleep medicine at the University of Chicago, she came to McGill University in 2011 and has since developed a research program in sleep-disordered breathing in pregnancy and across the lifespan. She holds national grants investigating the relationships between maternal sleep-disordered breathing on pregnancy health, in addition to cardiometabolic health outcomes in the offspring with the use of a longitudinal pregnancy and birth cohort. She is currently the Director of the Respiratory Epidemiology and Clinical Research Unit at McGill, and Co-Leader of the Translational Research in Respiratory Diseases Program at the Research Institute of McGill University Health Centre.
